Lewis Prosser is an absurdist basket-maker based in Penarth, whose practice revolves around the interplay of objecthood and entertainment. Informed by civic traditions of the British Isles, he constructs moments of wonder and rebellion through material culture and performance.

Lewis’s work is rooted in performance and he regularly performs his own work and as part of South Wales Collective: SCORE

I had a fabulous time sharing some basket and charcoal making days with the care makers club and local residents at @forgan_arts_centre 3 days making things in the sunshine surrounded by great people, beautiful gardens, and iconic fudge doughnuts!
